Why create a new biodegradable golf ball?

Put simply, we want to create a better performing biodegradable golf ball that is MADE IN THE USA.

We produce hundreds of waterfront driving ranges for our event clients. We initially used biodegradable golf balls with fish food in them. We learned that our participants like the novelty of hitting fish food balls, but not the hitting experience. We receive a lot of negative feedback on the fish food balls at our events.

We eventually switched to using biodegradable golf balls made with corn starch. Participants like hitting these balls better than the fish food balls, but we didn’t like that they were manufactured in China instead of the USA. It is not a ball we are proud of.

Several years ago we started researching ways to create a better performing biodegradable golf ball that was made in the USA. We have made significant progress toward this goal and are excited to introduce our ZERØ™ biodegradable golf ball later this year.
